Welcome!Amidst the little towns and farmlands of south central Minnesota is nestled a special place of grace. Amidst green grassy lawns, set against a quintessential Minnesota backdrop of corn fields and sparkling lake waters, is a little white shrine. For Catholics of all generations, special places of grace and pilgrimage have been set aside by the Church in order to provide the faithful with places for prayer, veneration, and spiritual renewal. To this day Catholics from all over the world travel to Rome, the Holy Land, Fatima, or Lourdes, but who would have thought that just as grace filled a place is the well kept secret of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota? This shrine, the Family Jubilee Shrine, was built in 1976 and is one of many daughter shrines of the Catholic Marian Movement of Schoenstatt. Dedicated to our Mother Thrice Admirable, Queen and Victress of Schoenstatt, this shrine is here for all who seek the refuge of home, the transformation of the heart, or the courage to spread the message of the gospel.
Servus Mariae nunquam peribit. A servant of Mary will never perish.
