Boys' Youth

The Schoenstatt Boys is the oldest part of the Schoenstatt Movement. When the first Covenant of Love with the Blessed Mother was made in the Original Shrine in Schonestatt, Germany, in 1914, it was made by Father Joseph Kentenich and a group of high school boys. Because of this special covenant with Mary, blessings have gone forth from Schoenstatt to Catholics all over the world of every age and walk of life. In Minnesota, the Schoenstatt boys are involved in both small groups, as well as retreats and camps led by the Schoenstatt Fathers. Schoenstatt Boys study Schoenstatt spirituality in order to increase their relationship with Christ and bring the Schoenstatt message of renewal to the world.
